SIA "Projekts EAE" is an engineering services company specialising in street and road design, construction design reviews and traffic planning. Our team consists of certified and experienced specialists.
We design in a 3D environment and deliver construction designs as building information models (BIM). 3D models of road surfaces and structures allow accurate quantity take-offs, early detection of design clashes and clear visualisations for the client. Models are prepared in line with the client's digital construction requirements.
We prepare construction designs for streets, roads, forest roads, cycle routes, footways, car parks and courtyards, from minimum-scope designs to full construction designs with an economic section and cost estimate. We also prepare renovation and landscaping designs. For our own designs we provide designer's supervision and advise clients throughout the construction process.
We model existing and future traffic flows for junctions, street sections and development areas. We assess the level of service (LOS) and propose the most suitable traffic management solution for the future.
We design traffic signal installations, both to convert uncontrolled junctions into signalised ones and to improve existing signalised junctions. Our solutions are based on traffic flow modelling to reduce congestion and improve road safety.
We carry out independent reviews of construction designs and issue an expert opinion. We check that the solutions comply with regulations, that the choice of materials is economically justified and that the cost estimate includes all necessary work items. This helps the client avoid unforeseen additional works and unnecessary costs during construction.
As well as more than 25 former county and parish municipalities that were merged in the 2021 administrative-territorial reform.
We also work as subcontractors and consultants for private design and construction companies.
Since 2012 we have completed more than 500 projects for clients across Latvia: state-owned companies, state city and municipal governments, and private companies. We have long-standing partnerships with State Ltd "Latvian State Roads", JSC "Latvia's State Forests" and Riga State City Municipality.
We support a project throughout its life cycle, from the first studies to the completion of construction.
We take part in developing industry standards, methodologies and guidelines.
